Planning Permission Secured for Beccles Energy Recovery Facility
Enzygo secured planning permission for an Energy Recovery Facility in Beccles, designed to process residual waste and generate low-carbon heat and electricity. The development supports more sustainable waste management while contributing to the production of lower-carbon energy.
From Project Inception to Planning Consent
Enzygo led the project from inception through to consent, coordinating planning, transport, air quality, noise, landscape, ecology and geo-environmental inputs. The team successfully demonstrated that the proposals did not constitute EIA development and worked collaboratively with Suffolk County Council and statutory consultees to secure officer support.
