Planning Approval for an Innovative Sustainable Fuels Facility
Enzygo secured planning permission for an innovative tyre recycling and sustainable fuels facility in Teesside. The development will convert end-of-life tyres into Sustainable Aviation Fuel, advanced biofuels and recovered carbon black, supporting the circular economy and reducing reliance on virgin materials.
Addressing Complex Environmental Constraints
Enzygo led the Environmental Impact Assessment and coordinated the planning, ecology, air quality, landscape and wider environmental inputs. Ecological sensitivities arising from the site’s proximity to internationally designated sites were successfully addressed, with proactive engagement securing officer support and planning approval under delegated powers.
