We’re delighted to share that Enzygo has secured full planning permission for an ultra-rapid Electric Vehicle (EV) charging hub in Aberdeen, on behalf of Hubber Infrastructure Ltd.
The approved development will transform a vacant site on Palmerston Road, in the heart of Aberdeen, into a sustainable asset that directly supports the city’s Local Development Plan regeneration objectives and regional EV infrastructure rollout ambitions.
Our Planning Team provided end-to-end planning support, including pre-application engagement with the LPA, design guidance, application management, and post-submission negotiations.
A great win – successfully navigating policy constraints to establish the principle of an EV hub within a Business Zone and designated Opportunity Area, in line with the Aberdeen Local Development Plan.
Ultra-rapid EV charging hubs like this are vital to accelerating the transition to electric vehicles in Scotland and supporting both Scottish and UK-wide net zero carbon targets for transport.
