    Do I need a Permit?
    Whether or not you need a Permit and the type of Permit you need to carry our your activities depends on the process you are wanting to undertake and the volumes/scales involved. Please contact our Permitting Team and we can assist you with this.
    The timescales for obtaining a Permit very widely depending on the complexity of permit required. To ensure that your project is not delayed Enzygo would advise submitting an application approximately 12 months before you want to become operational.
    Much like the planning process you’re not guaranteed to be issued with a Permit just by putting in an application. However Enzygo are able to maximise your chances of obtaining a Permit by providing advise on how to ensure your process meets the appropriate legislative requirements and guidance.

    Yes. We can manage permit variations, surrender applications and responses to changing regulatory requirements.

    While planning is focused on land use, permitting is focused on the detail of what activities and processes you’re carrying out on the land. For example any emissions to land, air and water and how these will be mitigated so as not to cause harm, net rated thermal inputs of combustion plant on site, how outputs from your process will be managed. The more detailed information you can provide to us during the application process the better your application will be.
